Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud has held talks with Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed in Addis Ababa.
President Mohamud on Friday travelled to Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, for two day official visit.
According to Villa Somalia, President Mohamud is in Addis Ababa for a trilateral meeting with Prime Ministers of Ethiopia and Italy, Abiy Ahmed Ali and Giorgia Meloni respectively.
The leaders will jointly hold discuss key issues of mutual interest between the three nations including further enhancing existing partnerships.
Villa Somalia confirmed that President Mohamud met with Italian PM Meloni.
They discussed the latest developments in Somalia’s security and Italy’s support for post-al-Shabab reconstruction, stabilization, and debt relief efforts.
